<p>Provided are a method and device for generating a FOTA upgrade package, and a software upgrade method and a mobile terminal. The method for generating a FOTA upgrade package comprises: according to the comparison of the file names and file binary formats in software of two to-be-upgraded versions among at least two to-be-upgraded versions, generating transitional software; and according to the comparison of the file names and file binary formats of the transitional software and the final version software, generating a FOTA upgrade package. The technical solution allows a software version provider to use one and the same FOTA upgrade package for upgrading a plurality of old versions, so as to reduce the costs of development and maintenance of the software version provider while satisfying the needs of different mobile subscribers for upgrading a plurality of old versions using one and the same FOTA upgrade package.</p> |
