The pump has a rotatable drum having an end face that cooperates with a glass distribution (3) comprising two diametrically opposed recesses (28). The recesses are connected to a suction port. Each of the recesses is arranged with a variable section between a set of common sections (31, 33) delimited by a set of contours (32, 34). One of the common sections is defined by a separate contour that is different from another contour. A set of sections of each recess has approximately constant surfaces.
