<p>This body shell structure (3) comprises a wheel arch (4), a quarter light lining (5) and at least one lateral component (6, 8) formed of a pressed steel sheet and arranged in the passenger compartment. The wheel arch (4) comprises a flat connecting part (4.1), the quarterpanel lining (5) comprises a connecting portion (5.1) and the lateral component (6, 8) comprises a connecting element (6.1; 8.1). The connecting part (4.1), the connecting portion (5.1) and the or each connecting element (6.1; 8.1) are juxtaposed and joined together by at least one electric arc spot weld (10, 11). This assembly has high mechanical strength, particularly pull-out strength.</p> |
