The present invention relates to a camshaft assembly and a manufacturing method of a camshaft assembly, and more specifically to a camshaft assembly and a manufacturing method of a camshaft assembly characterized by comprising: a hollow camshaft, in particular, composed of a hollow pipe and a camshaft combined to the hollow pipe; and an end piece formed by casting and combined with the camshaft, wherein a part of the end piece joined to the camshaft is formed with materials different from the camshaft and the end piece and the camshaft are mutually joined through brazing, not only preventing burrs produced upon machining of the end piece but also enabling easy joining between different materials of the end piece and the camshaft.
