A method for manufacturing a carbon-ceramic brake disk of the present invention comprises: a first step of preparing a mixture by mixing pitch-based carbon fiber and phenolic resin; a second step of manufacturing a molded body by pouring the mixture into the mold and pressing; a third step of preliminarily carbonizing the molded body; a fourth step of melting pitch and permeating same into the preliminarily carbonized molded body and secondarily carbonizing same; a fifth step of machine-processing the secondarily carbonized molded body; a sixth step of melting silicon and permeating same into the machine-processed molded body; and a seventh step of polishing the molded body which is permeated with the silicon. In the present invention, a carbon matrix which doubly encases the pitch-based carbon fiber absorbs stress when the pitch-based carbon fiber is presented with too much stress that cannot be handled. As a result, the carbon-ceramic brake disk breaking due to weakened solidity from the pitch-based carbon fiber suddenly tearing can be prevented. |
