The present invention relates to a garbage disposal device which can be used in bright environment by being installed around a solar street lamp, and which can reduce garbage volume by automatically compressing the garbage without additional power. The present invention comprises: a power receiving part for receiving power from the solar street lamp; a driving part for compressing the waste inserted in a body with the received power; a sensor part for measuring the height of the garbage inserted in the body; and a control part for receiving the operation of the driving part according to signals received from the sensor part. Accordingly, the present invention enables people to find it easily at night, and enhances garbage collection environment using environmentally friendly energy. Also, the present invention prevents environmental pollution due to leaked oil and facilitates maintenance and repair by being operated mechanically, not hydraulically.
