Provided is an elevator braking device, wherein an acting elastic body and a braking elastic body are separated each other, such that it is possible to prevent reaction force from bring disadvantages to other equipment when the elevator is braked. The braking device is provided with braking arms which are opposite to each other in pair and are configured to rotate through a shaft; the braking elastic body arranged between the braking arms; acting arms arranged on inner sides of the braking arms and opposite to each other in pair, which are configured to rotate through a shaft; the acting elastic body and actuators arranged between the acting arms; and a braking portion having braking members, wherein the braking members are supported by the ends of the braking arms and the acting arms, and move upwards when an elevating body falls and move downwards when the elevating body rises due to the friction force generated by pressing the braking members against the guide rail. |
