<p>The invention relates to a modular kit for geometrical representations for teaching purposes or for modelling scientific or industrial applications in various fields, such as: mathematics, physics, engineering, architecture, constructions, biochemistry and the like. According to the invention the modular kit comprises tubular segments (1), flexible connectors (2), rigid linear connectors (3), fixed angular connectors (4), mobile angular articulations (5), a protractor (6) and a partitioned box (7), where the tubular segments (1) are available in 16 dimensional versions, at lengths preset according to the measure of the hypotenuses of the right-angled triangles within the Archimedean spiral: square root of 1, 2, 3...16, which are chromatically marked by applying thereon some wrappers (11) of various colours, depending on the segment length. The claimed method for using the kit relates to the construction of polygonal or polyhedral models while checking them as relates their flexibility or rigidity upon application of a certain force on one or more sides, i.e. whether the angles between their sides change or not upon the force application and, by introducing some diagonals in the flexible model, the possibility of converting a flexible model into a rigid model can be empirically determined.</p> |
