The invention aims to provide a passenger transfer apparatus capable of inserting the axle sleeve of a wheel shaft inside a C-shaped opening portion, so that the wheel shaft can be conveniently installed on a passenger embarkation portion. In the elevator apparatus of the invention, a gap insurance mechanism is arranged between the end of the C-shaped opening portion and the wheel shaft. Therefore, when the axle sleeve is inserted inside the C-shaped opening portion by being moved along the axial direction, a gap between the periphery of the wheel shaft and the C-shaped opening portion is ensured by the gap insurance mechanism. By adopting the above structure, the step portion at the wheel shaft side is clamped with the step portion at the C-shaped opening portion side. |
