The loop (2) has an air/water heat exchanger (3) containing liquid coolant and supplying air for heating a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. An upstream pipe (7) supplies the liquid coolant to the exchanger. A downstream pipe (8) allows the evacuation of the liquid from the exchanger. A derivation conduit (9) connects the upstream pipe and the downstream pipe by bypassing the air/water exchanger. The derivation conduit includes a movable valve (15) that is moved between an open position and a closed position.
