PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery unit in which a battery cell and a control section can be housed in a case, while preventing unintended leakage of harmful gas to the outside of a case and the control section.SOLUTION: The battery unit includes a case for housing a storage battery 1, and a control section 106 for charging and discharging the storage battery 1. A first chamber 3031 for housing the storage battery 1 in a sealed state so that gas is less likely to leak from other than a flue duct 307, and a second chamber 3032 for housing the control section 106 are provided in the case 303. Between the first chamber 3031 and second chamber 3032, a sealed state is brought about by means of partition walls 305, 306 so that the gas is less likely to move. The first chamber 3031 is provided with a flue duct 307 connecting the first chamber 3031 and the outside of the case 303. The gas generated from the storage battery can be discharged through the flue duct 307 to the safe outside of the case 303. |
