摘要 Provided is a power transmission device for vehicle, having a continuously variable transmission for continuously varying the change gear ratio, a first gear train for transmitting torque in cases of forward travel, and a second gear train for transmitting torque in cases of reverse travel, these components being disposed in a mutually parallel arrangement between an input shaft to which torque output by a drive power supply is output, and an output shaft for outputting torque, wherein the device is provided with: a first clutch mechanism for switching the torque transmission path leading from the input shaft to the output shaft via the first gear train, to a torque transmission-enabled state or to a torque transmission-disabled state; a dog clutch for switching the path of torque transmission between the input shaft and the output shaft to a continuously variable path involving torque transmission through the continuously variable transmission, or to a reverse path involving torque transmission through the second gear train; a second clutch mechanism for switching both the continuously variable path and the reverse path to a torque transmission-enabled state or to a torque transmission-disabled state with respect to the input shaft or the output shaft; and a counter gear pair disposed at the location at which the torque of the input shaft is transmitted to the continuously variable path and to the reverse path, for participating in transmission of torque between the input shaft and the continuously variable path, and between the input shaft and the reverse path, respectively.
