<p>An ultrasound diagnostic device is provided with: an ultrasound transmission/reception unit for generating reception data by transmitting and receiving ultrasound beams to and from a subject by using multiple ultrasound transmission/reception elements arranged in one direction; a delay correction unit for correcting the delay time of the reception data and for aligning the phases of the reception data; a reception opening range determination unit for determining, on the basis of the signal value of the reception data after the delay time was corrected in the arrangement direction of the ultrasound transmission/reception elements, the reception opening range of the reception data used when generating an ultrasound image from the reception data after the delay time was corrected; and an image generation unit which matches and adds the reception data after the delay time was corrected and corresponding to the reception opening range and which generates an ultrasound image by carrying out a predetermined data process.</p> |
