Switchable adhesive composition comprises an adhesive, polymeric moiety and bound-in visible light curable groups, where the adhesive composition has a polydispersity of less than 5, preferably less than 3. Independent claims are included for: (1) manufacturing the switchable adhesive composition, comprising reacting the adhesive polymeric moiety comprising at least one unreacted carboxylic acid-, carboxylic anhydride- and/or amine functionality with a bound-in curable moiety; (2) a mixture comprising the switchable adhesive composition, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition; and (3) a pressure sensitive adhesive bandage, comprising a support layer coated on at least one surface with a pressure-sensitive adhesive or the mixture.
