PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an elevator capable of further reducing the frequency of stopping a car by emergency operation in the long-period vibration of a building by wind.SOLUTION: An amplitude determination device 11 determines, based on a detection result of a long-period vibration sensor 10, the amplitude of long-period vibration on a scale of four stages of a first level to a fourth level in an ascending order, and a wind velocity determination device 13 determines, based on a detection result of a wind velocity sensor 12, whether a wind velocity corresponds to a strong wind which can cause the fourth level of long-period vibration in a building or not. A long-period vibration control means 23 of an elevator control board 20 maintains, when the wind velocity is the first level, normal operation regardless of the wind velocity during the normal operation, performs speed limiting operation when it reaches the second level, performs the nearest floor stopping operation when it becomes the third level, and performs an operation stop when it reaches the fourth level during the nearest floor stopping operation. The long-period vibration control means 23 performs the speed limiting operation when the wind velocity is strong wind but less than the fourth level, and performs the operation stop when it reaches the fourth level. |
