The invention aims to provide for the resistance of a riser to constant cyclic stresses, for the reliability of sight operation, and for a high arrow velocity in the early stage of flight while maintaining the initial precision of aim thereof. The invention relates to the field of producing compound bows and specifically sport compound bows. The riser (1) of the compound bow consists of two plates (101, 102) positioned parallel to each other at a distance sufficient for cables (14, 15) to move without coming into contact with the plates (101, 102) and for the safe passage therebetween of an arrow (16) with fletching, and also consists of an overlay (103) installed on the plates (101, 102) to decrease the specific pressure of the end parts of the plates (101, 102) on the wrist of the archer. An arrow rest (2) is comprised of two supports (201, 202) which have an angular profile and a length comparable to the draw length of the bow and are installed using spacing plates (203, 204, 205) in the recesses of anchor nuts (206, 207, 208, 209, 210, 211) in such a way as to form a Y-shaped profile with a slot in the lower vertical part thereof, located in the vertical plane of symmetry of the bow with a small angular rise relative to the horizon, thus constantly and reliably pressing the arrow (16) to the arrow rest (2) during release without the horizontal shifting thereof, the arrow (16) being connected to a bowstring (12) in such a way that one of the three fletchings is directed vertically downward. |
