PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an electronic device and a power saving setting control method for achieving power saving under the consideration of the convenience of a user.SOLUTION: An electronic device includes a power saving function. The electronic device includes: state switching means; user image generation means; stress degree calculation means; and timer setting means. While the electronic device is put in a normal operation state, the state switching means switches the electronic device to a power saving state after the lapse of a first time with any operation to the electronic device undetected. In response to the electronic device being switched to the power saving state, the user image generation means images a user, and generates the image of the user. The stress degree calculation means calculates the degree of stress corresponding to the face image included in the image. The timer setting means changes the first time on the basis of the degree of stress. |
