PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diversity receiving apparatus capable of selecting a further suitable receiver even in an environment where multipath fading occurs.SOLUTION: A diversity receiving apparatus 1 includes: probability distribution estimation units 6-1 to 6-3 for estimating probability distribution of each bit value on the basis of each base band signal outputted from a plurality of receivers 3-1 to 3-3; bit error rate calculation units 7-1 to 7-3 for calculating a plurality of error rates according to each base band signal on the basis of the probability distribution of each bit; and a reception selection determination unit 8 for selecting the receivers 3-1 to 3-3 on the basis of the plurality of bit error rates. |
