The invention relates to innovative spearguns for underwater fishing. The device can be used to reduce the overall dimensions of the bands disposed on the arrow, while generating considerable power. Through the use of cords and stainless ball-bearings or bearings, it is possible to clear the area around the arrow in order to improve aiming. In addition to speed reduction, the miniaturised arming system also allows the individual loading of the bands. The combination of these two methods allows the greatly improved loading of traditional guns with minimum effort. Consequently, thrust occurs over a longer portion, or the entire length, of the gun and arming is simplified for people of short stature and for very long guns. The device is intended in particular for recreational and competitive underwater fishing.
