<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which prevents the occurrence of ghost caused by a response delay of liquid crystal under a low-temperature environment, and to prevent the occurrence of irregular luminance and irregular intensity of ghost. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a control circuit 21A, a source driver 27A, a liquid crystal display panel 28 and a temperature sensor 40. The control circuit 21A has a timing controller 22, a frame memory 23, a computing element 29, a memory 30 for an FFD conversion table and a voltage setting circuit 31. The voltage setting circuit 31 is controlled by the timing controller and applies prescribed voltage to the source driver 27A.
