PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system that properly selects one of a direct wave voice signal, a base station wave voice signal and a voice synthesis signal synthesized of the direct wave voice signal and the base station wave voice signal. SOLUTION: The radio communication system includes: a voice selection processing part 207a for selecting one of the base station wave voice signal, the direct wave voice signal, and the voice synthesis signal synthesized of the base station wave voice signal and the direct wave voice signal; a voice selection part 206a for selecting the base station wave voice signal or the direct wave voice signal on the basis of the selection of the voice selection processing part 207a; a voice synthesis part 206d for synthesizing the base station wave voice signal and the direct wave voice signal; and a voice changing switch 206e for selecting either the voice selection part 206a or the voice synthesis part 206d. The voice selection processing part 207a extracts transmitter numbers set to communication channels of the base station wave voice signal and the direct wave voice signal, and when receiving both the base station wave voice signal and the direct wave voice signal, selects the voice signal to be output by comparing the transmitter numbers.
