[Class 75(i)] [Also in Group XXIX] An oxyacetylene installation for blowpipe burners I comprises a source of oxygen B and a main pressure regulator D, a source of acetylene A and a main pressure regulator C independent of the regulator D, a distributing network E, F without pressure regulators and burners I having interchangeable nozzles. The regulators C, D, which are supplied from pipes K, L subject to fluctuations of output, may be constructed to give a constant downstream pressure, and non-return valves G, H, (see Group XXIX), may be combined with cocks and be supplied in the branch pipes to the burners I. These burners I are of the type having interchangeable nozzles, the gas inlet orifices and the mixing chambers being so calibrated that the optima supply pressures are the same for all outputs.
