<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prosthesis for a living body equipped with a novel load supporting structure not to cause a breakage accident in the prosthesis for a living body equipped with a shaft, a plate, and a fixation screw member. <P>SOLUTION: The prosthesis for a living body is equipped with: the shaft which is inserted into a marrow cavity and includes a solid body; the plate which extends in the axial direction of the shaft from a diaphysis part of the shaft and includes insertion holes penetrating in the thickness direction; and the fixation screw member including a head part, a self tap screw part formed on the end side, and a fixation part formed between the head part and the self tap screw part for holding a bone tightly between the shaft and the plate through the fixation screw members inserted into the insertion holes.
