The present invention relates to a technology for configuring a local area network by discovering the neighbor nodes which a user is interested in. According to one embodiment of the present invention, in a wireless communication network having a first node and more than one second nodes neighboring to the first node, a processing method in the first node for forming a local network includes a process for broadcasting discovery information and a process for registering more than one nodes responding to the discovery information among the second nodes. The discovery information includes an indicator for indicating whether receiving information of the first node and the discovery information to other nodes and the number of hops showing the possible relay number of the discovery information. The value of the indicator is configured by input of a user.
