PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for a transmission side of external information to easily check if a particular operator on a called side (reception side) has seen the content of the external information.SOLUTION: In the case where a facsimile device has authenticated an operator on the basis of input authentication information (a user ID, a password, etc.), if a fax reception stored document (message information) is stored in an HDD, the facsimile device displays a fax reception stored document list screen on its display. According to operation on the fax reception stored document list screen, if a document number and processing (browsing, printing, or transferring) has been instructed, the facsimile device performs the instructed processing to a fax reception stored document with the document number. Then, the facsimile device generates an incoming notification report describing incoming notification information giving notice of incoming of the fax reception stored document, operator information which is information on the operator, and processing information indicating a processing type performed to the fax reception stored document, and transmits it to a transmission source of the processed fax reception stored document. |
