A communication system comprises: radio terminal apparatuses related to a predetermined service or group; a relay apparatus; a base station apparatus connected to the relay apparatus; a gateway apparatus; and a mobile management apparatus. In the relay apparatus: a registration processing unit transmits, to the mobile management apparatus, a first registration request signal indicating a request for registration of the relay apparatus, and receives first communication path information indicating a communication path between the relay apparatus and the gateway apparatus; a device determining unit transmits, to the mobile management apparatus, the first registration request signal indicating the request for registration of the relay apparatus as an apparatus connected to the base station apparatus and receives the first communication path information indicating the communication path between the relay apparatus and the gateway apparatus; and a data transferring unit transfers data by use of the communication path indicated by the first communication path information. |
