Process and sleeve for district heating pipe coupling

The method involves connecting electrical and/or optical wires of a control circuit of an urban central heating system around a peripheral rigid sheath of two conduits to be connected using a connection sleeve (13) made of heat-sealable material. The sleeve is arranged on the rigid sheath by connecting electrical connection units with an electrical power source adapted to the sleeve. A space between metallic central tubes and the sleeve welded on covering zones of sections of the conduits is filled with expansible insulating synthetic material i.e. polyurethane foam. An independent claim is also included for a connection sleeve for connecting sections of conduits in an urban central heating system.
