A polymer having low molecular weight is provided to ensure light-proof property against ultraviolet rays, to prevent yellowing of the polymer resin, and to minimize faults by static electricity. A polymer having low molecular weight has a structure represented by chemical formula 1. The average molecular weight of the polymer is 800-4500. A method for preparing the polymer comprises the steps of: synthesizing quaternary ammonium salt by neutralizing an amine-based compound and acids; and adding the quaternary ammonium salt, a compound forming a polymer network structure, and a UV stabilizer and reacting the mixture. |
