PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination control system capable of preventing that a wireless transmitter repeats a transmission operation and a battery life is shortened in the case where wireless communication with a wireless receiver is impossible.SOLUTION: A wireless transmitter 8 included in an illumination control system, comprises a CPU 80 for performing control to transmit an ON control request to a wireless receiver in the case where a circumferential illuminance value is lower than a setting illuminance value that is preliminarily set, and a heat ray detector 84 detects a person, and to repeatedly transmit the ON control request at a predetermined transmission interval in the case where no ACK to the ON control request can be received. The wireless transmitter 8 further comprises: a counter 80a for counting the number of times of continuous non-reception of ACK; and a mode change part 80b for changing a transmission interval for the ON control request to a low-periodic mode where the transmission interval is lengthened when the number of times becomes a predetermined value or more. Therefore, the wireless transmitter 8 can prevent that a transmission operation is repeated and battery life is shortened in the case where wireless communication with the wireless receiver is impossible. |
