[Class 9 (i)] Relates to blasting-cartridges of the kind in which a pressure resistant metal container is made in two parts 1, 4 as described in Specification 431,936, and consists in filling with water the part 4 that is fitted with the venting head 9 and using for the non-detonating heating black powder or like charge 18 an amount sufficient of itself to effect the venting of the whole device.
