PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording material which can produce images of photo quality by means of electrophotographic printing methods with liquid and dry toners.SOLUTION: A recording material for electrophotographic printing methods, includes a carrier material and at least one toner-receiving layer. The toner-receiving layer contains a gloss pigment having a particle size of 100 μm or less, and a water-dispersible and/or water-soluble binder.
