<p>Disclosed are a method and a device for recognizing the type of carrier wave. The embodiment of the present invention relates to the wireless communication technology field, and solves the problem how to recognize the type of carrier wave. In this invention, based on the location relationship between resources where a detected synchronous signal and a detected Physical Broadcast Channel (PBCH) are on the current carrier wave, or the detected PBCH on the current carrier wave, or the location relationship between resources where the detected synchronous signal and a detected Cell-specific Reference Signals (CRS) are on the current carrier wave, or the transmission sub frame of the detected CRS on the current carrier wave, or a frequency domain used by the detected synchronous signal on the current carrier wave, the type of the current carrier wave can be determined by a terminal, and the problem how to recognize the type of carrier wave can be solved.</p> |
