PURPOSE: A single accident prevention system for a nuclear fuel handling system including a mechanical fall prevention device performs a fall prevention function during a power outage by using a trigger unit. CONSTITUTION: A wire rope drum (6) is connected to a primary output shaft of a driving motor (1), moves nuclear fuel vertically during rotation, and transports the nuclear fuel along a guide rail with snow to the horizontal direction. A drum brake (7) is connected to the wire rope drum. A mechanical damage detection unit (10) mechanically outputs a rotation difference between a secondary output shaft (S2) and the wire rope drum using a differential gear. A trigger unit (11) operates the drum brake connected to the wire rope drum by the output of the mechanical damage detection unit.
