PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a registration correction device capable of highly accurate registration correction by performing registration correction by taking an effect of disclination of a liquid crystal panel into consideration.SOLUTION: A registration correction device includes: a difference computing unit that performs background difference computation to output a first pixel value on the basis of a projection image from a liquid crystal projector; a pixel value conversion unit that converts the first pixel value into a second pixel value so as to reduce an effect of disclination of a liquid crystal panel of the liquid crystal projector; a straight line detection unit that detects a pixel area in a straight line by using the second pixel value; and a correction value calculation unit that calculates a registration correction value of the liquid crystal projector on the basis of the pixel area in the straight line.
