PURPOSE: A heat recovering apparatus of coke oven and a method thereof are provided to recovery thermal energy, which is discharged to an increase pipe, by supplying the heated oxidant to a coke oven, and to make the oxidant to absorb heat in the coke oven as the sensible heat. CONSTITUTION: A heat recovering apparatus of coke oven includes a carbonizing chamber, an increase pipe (200), a heat exchanging part (300), and an oxidant supplying part. The carbonizing chamber stores coal dried as coke. The increase pipe is provided to discharge gas generated by the coke dry distillation. An oxidant for absorbing the discharged heat from the increase pipe is flowed into the heat exchanging part. The oxidant supplying part passes through the heat exchanger and supplies the heated oxidant to the carbonizing chamber, thereby being connected so as to absorb heat by the endoergic reaction of oxidant. |
