PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery replacing device of a vehicle for shortening a battery replacing time. SOLUTION: A detecting switch 17 is arranged on an upper surface of a table 13a, and a distance measuring sensor 15 is arranged in a position opposed to an under surface of the table 13a on the ground. When removing a battery B stored in a battery storage part 11a, the distance measuring sensor 15 detects a height of the table 13a when the battery B is placed on the table 13a. When installing a new battery B in the battery storage part 11a, a CPU controls a lifting motor so as to stop the table 13a in an installation object height provided by adding the height of the table 13a detected by the distance measuring sensor 15 and a vehicle height variation.
