The present invention discloses a method of detecting T-cell proliferation in a subject comprising the steps of (a) obtaining a sample from said subject; and (b) profiling at least one parameter selected from the group consisting of: the activation level of GSK-3beta, the expression level of GSK-3beta and the activation or expression level of related members of pathways in which GSK-3beta plays a part. It is a core aspect of the invention, wherein a significant deviation from normal values indicates cellular proliferation. The present invention further discloses kits for detecting T-cell proliferation. |
