PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a measurement error in an insertion angle of a gap gauge in confirmation adjustment of a brake check switch used for measure an interval distance between a brake switch and an armature core of an elevator by using the gap gauge.SOLUTION: A confirmation adjustment device for a brake check switch includes: a device fixation means 14 for installing a confirmation adjustment device 11 in an armature core 3 so that a plane where the armature core 3 contacts with the brake check switch 7 becomes the same as a plane of the confirmation adjustment device into which the gap gauge 17 is press-fixed; and a gap gauge fixation means 13 for press-fixing the gap gauge 17 on the plane of the confirmation adjustment device 11.
