PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten required time of a pipe protection work and simultaneously to simplify stock management of a pipe protective cover in a decorative cover for external corners applied to equipment such as an indoor unit of an air conditioner.SOLUTION: A decorative cover for external corners 1 is configured to include a mounting base 2, and a cover piece 3. The cover piece 3 has a first opening 3a provided with pipe introduction surface which introduces piping and a second opening 3b provided with pipe take-out surface which takes the piping out. The first opening 3a and the second opening 3b are formed with the piping introduction surface and the piping take-out surface to intersect each other. A slide piece 4 for covering the piping is movably provided on the mounting base 2 in a direction (direction of arrow M or N) perpendicular to the pipe introduction surface to project from the pipe introduction surface of the first opening 3a to the outside by a predetermined stroke.
