PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forced cooling-type LED lighting device capable of preventing breaking of a cooling fan due to strong window outdoors, while suppressing its temperature rise by forced cooling of a light source unit.SOLUTION: In a forced cooling-type LED lighting device 1, a light source unit 3 having an LED 8 as a light source and a cooling fan 4 are housed in a housing 2 with an air intake port 5 and an exhaust port 6 formed, and the light source unit 3 is cooled by passing, through the light source unit 3, outside air sucked by the cooling fan 4 into the housing 2 from the intake port 5 and exhausting it from the exhaust port 6 to the outside of the housing 2. The exhaust port 6 which opens in the vicinity of the cooling fan 4 is constructed of a plurality of fan-shaped louvers 6a having the center of rotation of the cooling fan 4 as a center of the fans, and a shape and an opening direction of each louver 6a are configured so that air flowing in from the louver 6a may flow parallel to the blades 4a of the cooling fan 4. |
