PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of presenting a viewable program more suitable for a taste of a user, and further to provide a broadcast receiver and an information processing method.SOLUTION: An information processor comprises: viewing history acquisition means for acquiring program contents of a program viewed by each of a plurality of users as a viewing history; first retrieval means for retrieving the program corresponding to a taste of a target user out of the plurality of users for the program contents from a viewable program storage section storing a viewable program on the basis of the viewing history of the target user; similar user retrieval means for retrieving a similar user having a taste similar to the taste of the target user for the program contents from other users on the basis of the viewing history of the target user and viewing histories of the other users other than the target user; second retrieval means for retrieving the program corresponding to the taste of the similar user for the program contents from the viewable program storage section on the basis of the viewing history of the similar user; and presentation means for presenting a part of the programs or all the programs retrieved by the first retrieval means and the second retrieval means.
