PURPOSE: An activated loess manufacturing method using a mechanochemical method is provided to manufacture activated loess that has characteristics or effects of red clay without using a solidifying agent by mechanochemically crush-activated the dried red clay. CONSTITUTION: An activated loess manufacturing method using a mechanochemical method comprises the following steps: (i) red clay is dried at room temperature, the dried red clay is dried again by increasing the temperature to 200°C, and the re-dried red clay is crush-activated using a mechanochemical equipment; (ii) the crushed red clay is sieved to manufacture a product. The mechanochemical equipment is a planetary mill, a Raymond mill, or a vibration mill. The drying temperature is 200°C or less. The finely crushed red clay has an average diameter of about 250 mesh. A mortar composition is formed of activated loess manufactured with naturally dried red clay, lime, and an aggregate. |
