The present invention is a video duplication detecting apparatus comprising: a frame structuring part for structuring temporally continuous frames by decoding inputted videos; a feature extracting part for extracting the features of a corresponding video from the frames structured by the frame structuring part and coding the extracted features; a database for storing the coded features of one or more videos; a feature matching part for determining duplication of videos according as a video having the same coded features as the videos coded by the feature extracting part is detected from the database; and a duplicated video removing part for removing the duplicated videos except one in case that the inputted videos are determined to be duplicated by the feature matching part.
