PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning device in which while reducing deterioration of image quality such as color drift, downsizing is enabled as well.SOLUTION: Mass bodies 61 and 62 function as a first mirror and a second mirror that make coupled vibration mutually. To the mass bodies 61 and 62, vibration in which vibration having a first cycle and vibration having a second cycle, which is half the first cycle, are overlapped is excited. The mass bodies 61 and 62 mutually make coupled vibration so as to scan light from a light source. Thereby, a plurality of light scans are achieved with angular velocity properties being increased in the same direction. In the present invention, since an arc sine lens is not required, a spot size error on a surface of a photoreceptor can be reduced. Also, since this enables enlargement of a scan angle, downsizing can be easily achieved. |
