PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for maintenance of an air conditioner by an approach form new aspect different from a viewpoint for suppressing attachment of fungi.SOLUTION: A worker, as preparation work before maintenance, removes components of an air conditioner 2 such as a decorative panel 10, a filter, a fan 18, and a drain pan. Then, fungi are removed from a heat exchanger 20 in a state where attached fungi are propagated due to operation of the air conditioner 2. Further, the heat exchanger after the fungi are removed therefrom is dried. Then, by applying treatment to maintain a dried state to the heat exchanger 20, formation of living environment of fungi in the heat exchanger 20 is inhibited. |
