PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point system for providing a point service for coping with the spread of a portable terminal.SOLUTION: A point system includes a server and a computer program. The computer program makes a portable terminal execute a function for, when it is determined that the position of the portable terminal has entered a position range, starting the standby of a radio signal to be transmitted from a transmitter and a function for, when detecting a radio signal, transmitting check-in information to the server. The server includes: a point information holding part for holding the identification information of the portable terminal and the number of points in association; an application information holding part for holding the identification information of the transmitter and the number of points to be applied in association; an application acquisition part for acquiring the number of points to be applied in association with the identification information of the transmitter included in the check-in information from the application information holding part; and a point updating part for updating the number of points in association with the identification information of the portable terminal on the basis of the acquired number of points to be applied. |
