PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer that performs the overlay print of an image to a ground color layer surface that is printed on a medium.SOLUTION: Subheads 32b, 32c, 32d and 32e for image print and a subhead 32a for ground color layer print are arranged on the front and the back of the x direction of an inkjet head 30. Then, a ground color layer 50 is printed on a medium 10 by an ink droplet jet from the subhead 32a for the ground color layer print that is made reciprocate move to a Y direction upper side of the medium 10. Next, an image 60 is overlay printed on the surface of the ground color layer 50 by the ink droplet jet from the subhead 32b, 32c, 32d, and 32e for the image print that is made reciprocate move to a Y direction upper side of the ground color layer 50, after the subheads 32b, 32c, 32d and 32e for image print have reached the upper side of the ground color layer 50 printed on the medium 10 by moving the medium 10 in the X direction in order. |
