<p>[Problem] To provide a testing tool for isoelectric focusing with which bands reduced in smiling can be obtained. [Solution] The testing tool includes a gel layer G1 which comprises a lowly permeable part G12 formed in each width-direction edge region and a highly permeable part G11 formed in the center region between both edge regions. The gel of the highly permeable part G11 has pores which have such a size that water or a sample solution (a protein to be evaluated and a solvent) is allowed to permeate through the part G11. Meanwhile, the gel of the lowly permeable part G12 has pores which have such a small size that water or the solvent contained in the sample solution is allowed to permeate through the part G12 but the protein to be evaluated, which is contained in the sample solution, is not allowed to permeate (infiltrate).</p> |
