PURPOSE: A composition for skin moisturization is provided to show superior skin moisturizing effect with low skin irritation using a biological formulation and to maintain the moisturizing effect. CONSTITUTION: A composition for skin moisturization contains a skin moisturizing peptide derivative of chemical formula 1 or an acceptable salt thereof, ceramide, and a solvent. The molecular weight of the peptide derivative is 500-1000. The composition contains 0.00001-0.5 parts by weight of the skin moisturizing peptide derivatives and 0.01-5.0 parts by weight of ceramide with respect to 100 parts by weight of the solvent. A skin moisturizer contains the composition.
