PURPOSE: A wear prevention apparatus for a main runner is provided to prevent wear of a main runner promptly and easily by both detecting and cooling a temperature increasing area above a reference level while securing safety and convenience. CONSTITUTION: A wear prevention apparatus for a main runner comprises a thermal image photographing unit (20), a thermal image interpretation unit (30), a temperature measuring unit (40), a movable unit (50), a cooling unit (60), and a control unit (70). The thermal image photographing unit photographs thermal images of the whole body of a main runner. The thermal image interpretation unit receives photographed thermal images which are transmitted, and interprets the images into temperature. The temperature measuring unit measures the temperature at a temperature increasing area in the images. The movable unit moves the temperature measuring unit to the temperature increasing area. The cooling unit cools the temperature increasing area which is above a reference temperature for the main runner. The control unit controls the operation of the cooling unit. |
